Computed RadiographyComputed Radiography is a new technology for radiography that circumvents the need for traditional film and the related processes. Digital based radiographs are produced on phosflourescent sceens that are then scanned for viewing on a PC. With this technology there is no need for film processing (eliminating the need for chemicals, darkrooms, etc.) and the image is presented in an enhanced medium that can be manipulated, printed, stored and distributed. Three times faster than conventional film (ten times faster when using selenium sources), computed radiography has many benefits for all radiography projects.
