An ultrasonic testing instrument primarily used to perform near drum inspections of generating bank tubes at the mud or steam drum. The purpose of this inspection is to find & track localized areas of erosion/corrosion at or near the drum/tube interface.

-Quality control of the rolling process in generating bank tubes at both drums.
